Oleg Skrypnyk & Lena Tolochiy - Owners
 Oleg and Lena each bring over 20 years dance experience to the Huntington Fred Astaire Dance Studio. They started dancing at a very young age in Ukraine and became partners in 1994. Together they were winners and finalists in numerous regional, national and international competitions, including Ukrainian Youth Champions, Ukrainian Amateur Latin Cup Winners, Romania Open finalists, two time Ukrainian National Amateur finalists, and many more.
After graduating from the International Slavonic University in Kiev , Ukraine with Bachelor Degrees in Ballroom and Latin Choreography, in 2001, they were invited to share their dancing and teaching experience with the students of the Fred Astaire Dance Studio in Tarrytown , New York .
They were instantly admired for their dance skills and quickly became well respected teachers in the region. They are 6 time winners of the Freddy Award for New York State top teachers and Oleg has won the distinguished National Top Ten Teachers Award.
Oleg and Lena have experience teaching both social dancing and competitive dancesport. They have coached couples through their all-important first wedding dance, as well as taught numerous singles and couples the fun of being able to get out there and enjoy social dancing. They also have both been very successful in competing in the pro-am divisions with their students at dancesport competitions locally and around the country, including winning and placing in the finals in prestigious competitions such as the Fred Astaire National Dancesport Competition and the Ohio Star Ball featured on PBS.
Oleg and Lena have also performed on stage with other professional dancers and their most talented students. From 2003 through 2008, audiences enjoyed watching them as the lead dancers in the annual Tarrytown FADS showcases performed at the Tarrytown Music Hall .
In July 2008, Oleg and Lena opened the Huntington Fred Astaire Dance Studio and are eager to get you dancing!
